 Parc Farm is ideally located for you to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Tanat Valley and surrounding countryside. There are many good walks and biking routes locally to suit all abilities or you can enjoy a spot of fishing on the River Tanat which passes through our Park. Parc Farm is within easy reach of the coast and many local attractions.

Explore seldom used local lanes and encounter the wonderful views of the many valleys and hills. In the summer our local towns and villages hold their craft and produce shows and where you can watch sheep shearing competitions and dog trials. Perhaps a ride on one of the narrow gauge railways or a canal trip may be what you are looking for.

We have excellent local sport centres which cater for swimming and many indoor sports and there are local outdoor water centres for White Water Rafting, Sailing, Sailboarding and Canoeing.

.If you enjoy golfing there are good local courses to choose from.

Parc Farm is within easy reach of Llanrhaeadr Waterfalls one of the seven wonders of Wales, Lake Vyrnwy or National Trust Properties such as Powis Castle at Welshpool, Chirk Castle, Chirk or Erddig Hall, Wrexham. All just a short drive away. Even destinations further afield such as Snowdonia, Port Meirion, Bodnant Gardens and the coastal resorts of Aberystwyth, Aberdovey, Borth or Towyn provide a pleasant day out.

General groceries, papers, milk, etc. may be purchased from Penybontfawr Post Office and Store. Llanrhaeadr and Llanfyllin nearby have a butchers, bakery, chemist and small supermarkets, where most things can be found and both have a HSBC bank with cash point facilities.

Local Public Houses, Hotels and Restaurants in the area offer a wide variety of good food and welcome children into their establishments.
